As Russia continue to focus its efforts against states providing military support to Ukraine, KillNet a pro-russian cyber outfit carried out DDoS attacks against Bulgarian and Slovak websites including those belonging to banks and government divisions.

Anonymous Russia, a division of KillNet, announced its takedowns of the sites on March 28, 2023, giving the URLs and links to the website monitor Check-Host, giving proof. Concerning Slovakia, Anonymous Russia described the Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks as a “warning… to the Bandera government” for supporting Ukraine and delivering to it MIG-29 fighter jets.

The reference to Bandera is Stepan Andriyovych Bandera, the former leader of the far-right Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. Some of the targets that got hit by this DDOS include:

National Bank of Slovakia https://nbs.sk/en/
National Council https://nrsr.sk/web/
Slovakia Ministry of Justice https://justice.gov.sk
EximBanka Best Slovak Banks (1st Place) https://eximbanka.sk
JBanka Best Slovak Banks (2nd Place) https://jtbanka.sk

In its message to the Bulgarian government, Anonymous Russia said “go FUCK yourselves,” in regard to its looking to sell Ukraine a significant amount of Soviet ammunition. The group added: “I hope that the takedown of the official website of the President of Bulgaria will be a weighty argument for the cancellation of supplies.” The attacked sites follow:
