Army Moves to Revive and Strengthen Command Schools System, As Major General Tsoho Seeks Synergy

 CORPS COMMANDER EDUCATION EMBARKS ON FAMILIARIZATION/ASSESSEMENT VISIT

The Corps Commander Education Nigerian Army, Major General Bello Alhaji Tsoho has embarked on familiarization visit to seek support to ensure synergy and create enabling environment for the process of adding value to officers and soldiers in various aspects of capacity building.

These he believed would contribute positively to the desired turn around for the Nigerian Army especially in reviving and strengthening the Command Schools system.

The Corps Commander Education Nigerian Army Major General Tsoho who began the assessment visits to formations, units and Command schools in 2 and 81 Divisions areas of responsibility on Monday noted that this would facilitate positive transformation of the Nigerian Army Education Corps.

The visit commenced on Monday 5 June, 2023 with the office of the General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General OC Ajunwa.

General Tsoho reiterated the objectives of the visit was also aimed at collaborating for the progress of the Corps and solicited for the cooperation and support of the General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army as well as all stakeholders in actualizing the vision of transforming the Education Corps and taking it to enviable heights.

He also paid courtesy calls to various Corps Commanders, Commandants of military institutions, Commanders, Directors and all Command Schools within the 81 Division area of responsibility.

He, therefore, assured the stakeholders that all officers and soldiers of the Education Corps were ready, willing and able to work tirelessly towards achieving his vision statement which is “To Have a Professionally Transformed Nigerian Army Education Corps That Is Adaptably Poised In Building Sustainable Platforms For Educational Development Of The Nigerian Army In Support of the Chief of Army Staff’ Vision.”

In response, the GOC 81 Division Maj Gen OC Ajunwa thanked the Corps Commander Education for the visit to the Division and equally congratulated General Tsoho for the well-deserved appointment. He also assured him of his continued support to the Education Corps.

General Ajunwa noted that Education is beyond classroom but a sum total of the interactions with other stakeholders, experiences and activities in education all geared towards the exchange of knowledge.

General Tsoho during this period visited several Commands, corps Headquarters, tri- service institution and NA schools within 81 Division Areas of Responsibility
