Commander Cyber Warfare Command Decorates Lieutenant Colonel Oloruntoba

The Commander Nigerian Army Cyber Warfare Command (NACWC), Major General Abubakar Adamu have today Friday, 28 October 2022 decorated a newly promoted senior officer serving in his Command to the rank of  lieutenant Colonel In the Army. The newly promoted senior officer Lieutenant Colonel Adebayo Femi Oloruntoba is a hardworking and devoted officer of the finance corps who is presently serving in the command as finance officer. The event took place at NACWC Commander Conference Hall Giri, Abuja.

The Commander in his remarks advised the newly promoted senior officer to double his efforts and perform better than he has been known for, adding that promotion comes from God alone. The commander also stated that to whom much is given, much is expected thus unlike his previous rank as a major, he is now a Lieutenant Colonel and in the Army seen as a Commanding Officer in charge of hundreds of troops. “The Nigerian Army has found you worthy by promoting you, you must live up to that expectation”, he said.

While delivering the vote of thanks Lt Col Oloruntoba thanked the almighty God for sparing his lives to witness the remarkable elevation to a new higher rank in the Nigerian Army. He also thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya for finding him worthy of the promotion. The senior officer thanked the Commander for providing a conducive working environment in the command and for decorating him in a most remarkable manner. He appreciated his family members especially his wife for being there for him and providing for the home front when needed while he is on duty calls.

Present at the ceremony were the Commander NACWC Major General Abubakar Adamu, Director Civil Component NACWC Brigadier General TO Unokhua (rtd), Commandant Cyber Warfare School Brigadier General Adewale Adetoba, Director C4 systems Brigadier General SY Bashir, Senior officers, families, colleagues, friends and well wishers.
